Commuteride to hold Ridetober 5k/10k Challenge

The Ada County Highway District's Commuteride holds the annual Ridetober promotion each October to educate and encourage people to try an alternate form of transportation. In light of the challenges created by the pandemic and not wanting to let this important opportunity to connect with Treasure Valley residents, the team devised the Ridetober 5K/10K Challenge. Participants walk, run or bike a 5K or 10K course that they create. They can complete the virtual race anytime between October 1-11. Participants create a profile, map their 5K/10k using the Commute Tracker app when, where, and how they want. The account can be synced with your choice of several fitness trackers.

The first 100 registrants receive a free Ridetober t-shirt.
